Mom's Gardenias

Gardenias remind me of my mom's era, and I'm not quite sure why. I have an image of her in my mind wearing gardenia corsages... maybe it was from stories she told me. At my previous home, I had a gorgeous gardenia bush off the back door and each time I walked outside while they were blooming... I got a scent of my mom. This morning's painting is titled "Mom's Gardenias" and they are blossoms from my gardenia bush... in my grandma's glass.
