This morning I left Corpus Christi with my friend, Stephanie and we drove north through a few small towns to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, spending the afternoon peering through bionoculars, bird watching. Along the way we enjoyed the Texas wildflowers. When I got in tonight, I told my husband I had to paint my daily painting! So I decided to paint this white prickly poppy that was blooming in the fields along the way.
